Begin — or Rekindle — Your Love of the Violin

Mrs. Grinvalds is an accomplished, classically trained musician. She is also an intuitive and inspiring teacher who communicates with great clarity. Those qualities combined make her an amazing violin mentor and instructor. But above and beyond that is that, at her core, Mrs. Grinvalds cares so very deeply for each individual student as a cherished person. She pours into them, encourages them, challenges them to push through to their next best level, and cheers them on with such a full heart. She embodies the spirit of that rare gift of a person who simultaneously supports from beneath, pulls gently from ahead, and links arms to walk alongside. She has given our daughter a strong foundation these past several years from middle school through high school graduation (and continuing) in what beauty and graciousness look like lived out through both music and relationship.

Gretel has been an amazing asset to our daughter’s violin journey. She is an exceptional teacher and does an excellent job developing her students both technically and musically. She genuinely cares about each student as an individual and creates a supporting, encouraging environment where each student can thrive. We’re so thankful for her passion and dedication.
